Are you ready for the most exciting activity in a bee’s life cycle? Print out the life cycle of a bee craft and let the kids take their own snapshots with a camera that guides them through the different stages of a worker bee’s life.
Oh, but it doesn’t end here! There are also 14 other bug lifecycles to explore!

Learning about the life cycle of bees can be super fun if you add in this fun bee life cycle activity (or any of the other 15 species of bugs).
Kids will love assembling their own camera with a video showing the different life stages of these adorable insects.
The only thing that would be better would be for the kids to take their own photos documenting the different stages, but that’s not an easy task.
If you have an early finisher in your group, be sure to grab our bee coloring pages as well as how to draw a bee tutorial to keep the kids busy.
What you need:
Print out the form. We recommend printing these on heavier paper to make the product more durable.
If you print the black and white version, let your child color it first.
Next, cut out the camera and film strip.
Cut along the dashed line on the camera screen. The easiest way to do this is to fold the camera along the entire line on the screen. Fold it just enough to get the dashed lines and cut along them.
The camera now has two slots where we insert film strips of the bee’s life cycle.
Insert movie. Start from the bottom, with the film below the camera. Push the film through the slot so it covers the screen. Push the film through the second slot (above the camera).
Fold the flaps on each side of the membrane.
This will secure it so it doesn’t slide out when the child moves.
All has been done! Your beekeeping life cycle is complete and ready to teach children about the life cycle of bees.
With thousands of crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing guides to print, you’ll always have the resources you need at hand. Perfect for both parents and teachers!
