When you pull the paper “string” this little guy will start moving his ears. How fun is that?

How to make a paper toy rabbit that can move
What you need:
Step by step instructions
Print out our template. We recommend printing on cardstock as regular paper is not suitable for holding the shape of this paper toy.
The first thing we’ll do is color it. Color the inside of the ears, the nose, the inside of the feet, and the tail. Or the whole bunny if you want.
Take the scissors…
…and cut out all the pieces of the pattern.
Fold along the dotted lines.
First we will create the body. Make folds along all the dashed lines…
Apply glue to the rectangle with the word glue inside.
Glue the ends together, forming a “box”.
Take a small strip of paper and apply glue to one end.
Glue the two ends together, forming a circle.
Glue the paper ring to the body, in a square shape with the word glue inside.
Glue the bunny’s nose onto the paper ring.
Attach a pair of legs to the body.
Next is the ears. If you haven’t folded along the dotted line yet, now is the time.
Apply glue to the “flap” on top of the rabbit’s body and glue the ears on top.
Repeat with the other ear.
Take one of the long strips of paper. Apply glue to the small rectangle that says glue inside.
Now stick this part to the end of the ear.
Place the remaining unglued end inside the rabbit’s body.
Repeat with the other ear.
Done! Now pull and push the paper strips and watch the bunny move its ears.
