Painting with Ice – DIY Ice Paint
What you need
- 1 cup water
- Red, yellow, green and blue food coloring
- Short ice cream stick
- Ice cube tray
2. Add a small drop of red food coloring to four different ice cubes and mix well3. Add a small drop of yellow food coloring to four different ice cubes in the mixture and mix well4. And just a small drop of green food coloring to four different ice cubes and mix well5. Then add a small drop of green food coloring to four ice cubes and mix well6. Place a short popsicle stick into the beach ice cube mold
7. Freeze for about 4 to 6 hours or overnight8. Pull the wooden stick out of the tray9. Spread old newspaper on the table before you paint, as the food coloring will stain10. Hold the wooden stick to paint with
And the fun can begin! These paintings run smoothly on the paper and the colors are great (like watercolors). This ice painting activity is a summer favorite (perfect if you’re having a summer party).
