How to make paper snake crafts
What you need:
- round hole punching machine
- colored paper
- cleaning tube
- 5 wooden beads
- glue
- drag
- Googly eyes
Step by step instructions
Thread a bead into the cleaning tube and form a hook.
Thread the remaining beads starting from the opposite end.
Punch out a series of circles and start moving them around on the pipe cleaner.
We started with 10 yellow circles. Older children can thread them directly onto the pipe cleaner, while younger children will need to punch a hole in the middle first – we recommend using a plastic sewing needle or similar non-sharp object.
Continue with other colors.
If you want a larger snake wrapped around your arm, you can attach as many cotton swabs as you like and thread more paper loops through it.
Secure the cleaning stick by forming a circle as shown in the picture.
Apply a little glue to the straw and add another paper ring.
Put the bulging eyes up.
Make a snake tongue and stick it on your face.
Done!
We named our snake Drake.
You can give it a different name, like Snaky Snake or Mr. Bun.
Hope you enjoy today’s project.
