What you need:
Let’s build it.
Cut yellow crepe paper into strips about 1 inch long.
Fold it in half and use scissors to cut out nice looking cuts.
The ribbon will look like this.
Apply a little glue to the edge…
… and roll it up to make a dandelion flower.
If needed, add a little glue at the end so the flowers can stick together.
Trim off excess flower heads.
Now make a dandelion bouquet by repeating the above steps.
Cut thin strips of green paper to make the flower stems.
Draw some leaves on a green paper…
Cut them out and use scissors to zigzag the edges.
Glue the flower branches together…
add flowers…
…and leaves on cardboard.
Now draw a ladybug shape on black paper and cut it out.
Draw that shape on red paper and cut it out.
Cut a small piece from the red shape to make the ladybug’s wings.
Glue the ladybug’s body, wings and bulging eyes together.
Use a marker to draw some dots on the ladybug and glue them onto cardboard.
Your paper dandelion painting is done!
You can use different shades of green for the stem and leaves if you like.
They look so cute!
