Paper Plate Ghost – Paper Plate Crafts for Kids

Let’s make a cute ghost! This swirling paper plate ghost is so much fun and could easily be used as a Halloween decoration since it will swirl in the air!

We love paper plate crafts around here (I’m sure you’ve noticed)!

Paper plate crafts

Even though I think ghost crafts are cute, I was terrified of ghosts as a kid (thanks to all the scary ghost stores the older kids in my neighborhood told me about). I mean, until I watched the movie Casper and “realized” that ghosts could be good, anything ghost-related made me look like, well, a ghost.

What you need;

  • 1 small paper plate and 1 large paper plate (or 2 larger plates and you cut one plate off)
  • drag
  • glue
  • black marker
  • topic

Take the larger paper plate and start cutting with scissors in a spiral towards the center.

Draw a spooky expression on a smaller paper plate and glue it to the center of the large spiral cut paper plate.

Tie a string to the ghost’s head and watch it spin!

More fun paper plate crafts

Here’s another fun Halloween themed paper plate craft your kids can do – why not make a black cat out of a paper plate! Or a paper plate alligator because this little cat can easily turn into a scary Halloween monster!
