I have never met a person who doesn’t like ice cream. There are so many flavors and varieties to choose from these days, I am 100% sure that everyone can find a flavor that suits them.
However, we’re not serving the real thing today, we have a fun summer craft for kids to share with you today, and this one can actually be a very open-ended one. Especially with younger kids, as they can come up with some really silly answers when you ask them what their favorite flavor is, from your everyday fruit flavor to poop flavored ice cream.
We share two simple ideas on how to make and decorate ice cream crafts but we are sure your kids will get super creative making their own ice cream.
What you need
Draw an ice cream scoop onto a paper plate with a circular top and a scalloped bottom with slightly larger edges than the circular top and cut it out with scissors.
Paint one spoon pink and one spoon mint green and let dry.
Cut two triangles from brown paper, about 4-5 inches wide at the top.
Draw a cross pattern on a brown triangular cone with a black marker. Glue ice cream scoops to the top of the cone.
Use a small paintbrush to make small black dots on the mint green spoon to resemble chocolate chips.
Brush glue onto pink spoon and sprinkle some sprinkles on top (don’t eat).
Then glue a red tassel ball on top of each ice cream scoop and let dry.
With thousands of printable crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing tutorials, you’ll always have the resources you need at your fingertips. Perfect for parents and teachers alike!
