How to make paper star Christmas ornaments

What you need:

  • Christmas Hardcover
  • Red paper, scissors
  • Pencil
  • Glue
  • Gemstone
  • Wool
  • Tape

Step by step instructions

You will start by cutting out the star template. Then you will draw around the star into the Christmas template.

Continue cutting out the star as you see in the picture. This is something kids can do themselves or you can help them.

Cut long thin strips of red paper. As you can see, this is an easy task.

You will then roll them up and loosely glue them onto the star. This is a great skill for little hands to learn.

Once you have rolled up a large amount of red ribbon, you can begin the next stage of this fun craft.

Small red swirls will be glued to the front part of the star. Just like the tree decoration, the red swirls will decorate this tree craft.

Keep adding red swirls to the tree! See how awesome this tree craft is.

Continue adding red swirls until the entire tree is covered.

Now it’s time to cut a piece of red yarn.

Continue gluing it to the back of the star.

Glue rhinestones to the corners of the star.

There is a lot of freedom in how you glue rhinestones to the star. Have fun with it!

As you can see, rhinestones look great anywhere on the tree. Adding a little sparkle to your Christmas tree will make it even more stunning.

The end result was amazing.

This paper star Christmas ornament can be hung on the family Christmas tree or around the house!
