How to make paper weaving crafts from owls
What you need:
Step-by-step instructions
Start by printing the owl template.
Cut out the outline of the owl.
Fold along the horizontal dashed line.
Make incisions along the dotted line.
Cut paper strips in one or more colors.
Apply glue to one end of the strip.
Slide the adhesive end of the strip into the first incision and secure with glue. Now, you’re ready to start weaving!
Weave the first strip below and over the slits.
Go to the end of the row, then secure with glue.
Slide another strip of a different color and weave it in the reverse order as you did in the first strip.
You can already see the mosaic pattern forming.
Keep adding more colorful strips, weaving them and watch your owl come to life with many beautiful colors.
