We love the spooky season and have a great collection of Halloween craft ideas for kids of all ages.

Have your kids color a series of Halloween Coloring Pages and follow our instructions on How to Draw a Spider or Draw a Spider Web in a few simple steps.

Today we added another fun and adorable craft to our Halloween collection – a spider poking its head out of a web.

Boohoo!

We love the results of this project and we love that it was really simple.

You can make one for each of your friends and surprise them on Halloween – we bet they’ll jump for joy.

How to make paper spider web crafts

What you need:

  • orange cardboard
  • black cardboard
  • white paper (or white cardboard)
  • black marker
  • glue
  • drag
  • compass
  • pencil (and eraser to erase pencil marks later)
  • split pin
  • silver marker
  • ruler
  • Googly eyes

Let’s go!

Step by step instructions

On the orange cardboard, draw a square measuring 15 x 15 cm.

Use scissors to cut it out.

Take black cardboard and cut out four identical triangles.

Glue triangles to each corner of the orange square.

On a blank sheet of paper, draw a mesh. We will complete the mesh later.

Use scissors to cut off the mesh.

Take a compass and draw a circle in the middle of the grid. Our circle has a diameter of 4.5 cm.

Cut out this circle.

On another piece of white paper, draw a circle larger than the circle you drew in the middle of the web page.

Our circle has a diameter of 6 cm.

Use scissors to cut it out.

Take the circle, close the mesh hole and connect the circle to the mesh with a split pin.

Then split the two ends of the pin in half so that the circle adheres tightly to the mesh.

Check that the circle opens and closes properly and completely covers the hole.

Cover the hole with a circle and finish the mesh – draw the remaining wire with a black marker.

Glue the fabric to the orange cardboard as shown. Be careful not to get glue on the movable circle.

On black cardboard, draw a small spider and a vertical wire.

Cut them out.

Glue the spider and string to the orange cardboard inside the hole.

Use a silver marker to draw the spider’s mouth and cover the hanging wire with silver.

Stick the bulging eyes on the spider.

Your finished project should look like this.

Finished!

We hope you enjoy this tiny spider!

See you soon with more handmade products.

Keep stable!
