Instructions step by step

Choose the colors you will use for your bracelet. Using bead tweezers, carefully pick up each bead and place it on your pin board.

We are making a bead bracelet that is 29 beads long and 3 beads wide.

Step 1

Create the pattern you like – change different colors, create random colors, use 2 or 10 – it’s up to you.

Step 2

Once you are happy with the pattern, carefully place a sheet of ironing paper over the beads and iron for a few seconds (check the instructions that came with the beads) or until you see the beads start to stick together.

Step 3

Take out the iron. Now carefully pull the paper off the pegboard (be cautious as it will be hot) and peel the seeds off the paper – immediately press them around the glass jar, don’t let them cool.

Once the beads are cool enough (but still warm) for you to touch, remove the bracelet from the glass jar and place the two ends on top of each other and hold until completely cool (see picture below).

Once completely cool, your homemade Perler bead bracelet is ready to wear.
