Raw materials

  • Pine cone
  • Green craft paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Liquid glue (like white school glue)
  • Glitter
  • Badminton
  • Additional decoration

Let’s do it!

Make a cone Christmas tree

If using pine cones collected from outdoors, rinse and shake briefly to remove dirt and debris. Allow to dry completely.

Paint the entire pinecone green. Clean the brush and let it dry completely.

I find that craft paints usually dry quickly so there may not be long to wait!

Use a clean paintbrush to apply glue to the top of each “leaf” (or use a glue gun).

Step 2

Decorate with tassels, glitter, and other fun decorations you have!

Try using some wire to make a wreath.
