Are you ready to make another pom pom friend? Let’s make this pom pom pig craft that makes oink oink sounds.
This is a fun project for kids and kids at heart, it makes a fun toy to play with or as a decoration (even a key chain).
This little guy is really easy to make and would also make a great gift for friends or family.
Pom Pom Craft
What you need
- pink felt
- pink thread
- Googly eyes
- permanent black marker
- glue gun
- drag
Both the bear and pig used 125 pom poms wrapped around a book (you can see the pom pom making technique in this step-by-step tutorial).
Cut 1/3 of the yarn tip and tie it off. This is the tip.
Cut the remaining 2/3 in half and stack them on top of each other. Tie them together and this is the body.
Trim to shape.
Tie the body and head together.
Use pink felt to cut two triangular ears, a snout, and two paws out of the felt.Use a black marker to draw nostrils on the oval snout.
Fold the ears in half at the bottom and glue them together. Hot glue them to the head.
Attach the eyes, snout and legs.
