This princess paper craft is perfect for any child who loves fairy tales and wants to create a character from the story.

DIY Printable Paper Princess

This craft is simple enough that kids can do it themselves, with a little help from parents, of course.

How to make princess paper crafts

What are your needs:

  • template
  • drag
  • glue
  • pencil
  • black and pink marker pen
  • two fake diamonds
  • colored paper (purple, pink, yellow and body color)
  • eye shadow

Materials used

Step-by-step instructions

Body

Cut out the template. Start drawing the body pattern on body-colored paper.

Step 1

Skirt

You will use pink paper to redraw her dress.

Step 2

Trace the top of the dress.

Step 3

Glue the top of the dress to the body.

Step 4

Glue the sleeves and bottom of the dress to the body.

Step 5

Face

Draw the eyes and nose with a black pen and the mouth with a pink pen.

Step 6

Add blush with eyeshadow using a q-tip.

Step 7

Hair

Cut thin strips of yellow paper.

Step 8

Use scissors to pull each strip of paper so that it curls up.

Complete this process until you have a series of curled strips.

Cut light pink paper strips.

Fold in half the length of the dress.
