This princess paper craft is perfect for any child who loves fairy tales and wants to create a storybook character.

This craft is simple enough for kids to do on their own, with some help from parents of course.

How to make princess paper crafts

Your Needs:

  • template
  • drag
  • glue
  • pencil
  • black and pink marker
  • two fake diamonds
  • colored paper (purple, two shades of pink, yellow and body color)
  • eye shadow

Materials used

Step by step instructions

Body

Cut out the pattern. Start drawing the body pattern onto the body colored paper.

Step 1

Skirt

You will use pink paper to draw her dress.

Step 2

Redraw the top of the skirt.

Step 3

Glue the top of the skirt to the body of the skirt.

Step 4

Glue the sleeves and bottom of the skirt to the body of the skirt.

Step 5

Face

Draw eyes and nose with black marker and mouth with pink marker.

Step 6

Use a cotton swab to apply blush and eye shadow.

Step 7

Hair

Cut thin strips of yellow paper.

Step 8

Use scissors to pull each strip of paper lengthwise so that they curve.

Step 9

Continue this process until you have a series of curly hair strips.

3D dress effect

Cut strips of light pink paper.

Fold in half lengthwise.

Cut off the excess.

Glue to the skirt.

Belt

Cut a strip of darker pink paper to make the belt.

Stick the belt on the princess.

Feet

Start cutting a strip of body colored paper.

Cut in half to get two strips.

You will glue these strips of fabric to the princess’s feet.

Take the whole princess and paste it onto a purple paper.

Hair stickers

Start gluing the curly blonde hair onto the princess.

Continue adding curly hair to the princess.

Do both sides to make her hairstyle look better.

Bow

To complete the princess, cut a thin strip of pink paper.

Cut the paper strip in half.

Fold both pink sheets of paper in half.

Glue a loop from a strip.

Prepare the remaining small strip of fabric to wrap around.

Add glue.

Join the two pieces together in a “+” shape to form a bow.

Cut off excess bow.

Step 33

Glue the bow to the princess’s hair.

To make the dress stand out more, you can add two rhinestones.
