Printable Alphabet Letter Crafts (Uppercase and Lowercase)

Learning the ABCs can be difficult, so our mission is to make things easier for kids – and one way to make learning about letters more fun is to add new Craft this fun printable alphabet letters into your lessons (black and white version available as a free printable).

These fun crafts are a great addition to your weekday letter writing activities because we’ve prepared two different crafts for each letter (one for uppercase and one for usually) and all come in black and white as well as full color versions.

Alphabet worksheets are great for learning the ABCs, but a hands-on craft activity helps a lot. It makes things more interesting and because it is hands-on, the learning becomes more dynamic.

How to make crafts with the alphabet

What you need:

our printable template (get the black and white version for free at the bottom of this post, or get both the black and white and full color versions from our membership here)
Printed paper or regular cardboard
drag
glue
color supply if you are using the black and white version

Step-by-step instructions

Print out the desired letter of the alphabet. If you print a black and white version, have your child color all the parts of the pattern first.

We’ve included some simple tracing exercises on each sheet of paper, so let your child draw along the lines to practice writing.

This is a really fun way to practice the alphabet.

Cut out all pattern pieces. Have children assemble the characters – each sheet has an illustration of how to assemble that children can follow to make their own.
