How to make printable dinosaur puppets
What you need:
Step-by-step instructions
Print out the desired dinosaur puppet template. You can choose between a black and white version or a pre-colored version.
Colors in sample.
Cut out the puppet as well as two paper rectangles.
All parts are ready for assembly.
Make folds along the dashed lines on both paper rectangles.
Fold along the dotted line on the dinosaur. The top part is where the dinosaur’s snout meets the upper teeth.
Next, ask them to fold the upper head down, aligning it with the lower jaw; this will form a crease in the middle of the mouth.
Have the child bend the lower jaw along the dotted line.
The dinosaur’s mouth should be folded inward.
Apply glue to one of the paper rectangles (on the folded lid).
Attach the glued strap to the back of the dinosaur’s head.
Hold it in place until the glue hardens.
Apply glue to the remaining finger strap.
Then, attach the strap to the bottom of the dinosaur’s head, behind the lower jaw.
Let the glue dry completely before using the finger puppet.
Now your child can enjoy playing with his new dinosaur finger puppet!
