Printable Easter Silhouette Craft

We have another great Easter project to share with you!

This Easter silhouette craft comes with a free printable template and would look great as a homemade Easter decoration.

Easter is one of the most celebrated holidays and whatever your reason for celebrating it, we are sure that Easter bunnies and eggs are an integral part of it.

We’ve been busy sharing easy crafts that kids can make, including this one, but we felt this one would be great for kids too. It’s quick and easy to make, and quite a sight to see when finished.

Since this project can be used as a decoration, it would also make a great gift for family and friends (especially if done by kids).

We chose an Easter color scheme with soft pastel tones but there are no color limits.

What you need

our templates (you will find them at the end of this guide)
printer
two sheets of white paper for each shape (the thicker the paper the better) – one for sketching and one for the background
colorful paper
drag
glue

Or follow these simple step-by-step instructions

Start by cutting out the silhouette outlines. We’ll show you how to make a bunny.

Don’t throw away the little bunny tail :).

Cut many colorful strips of paper.

As mentioned before, we decided to use pastel colors. Perfect for Easter.

You can use scissors, a paper cutter, or just tear the paper by hand for a more dynamic look.

Glue the paper strips to a white sheet of paper.

No particular order needed.

Once all the strips are in place, apply glue to one side of the bunny paper.

Stick it on the paper along with those colored strips.

All that’s left to do is attach the little bunny tail and your Easter silhouette artwork is complete and ready to display.

Repeat this process with the Easter egg silhouette.
