Box of chocolates

Match the delicious chocolate shapes with their shapes in the chocolate box.

Heart Color Matching

Heart Matching – young learners can look at the outline of the heart to help them match the colours while new readers can try reading the colour words to match the colours.

Animal Pair

Is love in the air in the animal kingdom? Can your child match all the animal pairs?

Chat Heart Alphabet or matching letter

Match the letters of the alphabet. There are both uppercase and lowercase letters – so you can have your child work on letter recognition (matching uppercase with uppercase and lowercase with lowercase) or have your child match uppercase with lowercase (or vice versa).

Compound word Love letter

Join two words and make a compound word – make a hole in the envelope. Rainbow = rain + bow, toothbrush = tooth + toothbrush, starfish = star + fish, birdhouse = bird + house). This is fun for both reading and non-reading children – they can help themselves with the pictures.

Rhyme Hour – Bouquet of Flowers

Look at the pictures, read the words aloud and find the rhyming words.

Ten Frames of Love

Look at the number on the love bug and match the number ten frame exactly to that number.
