How to make a killer whale pop up card with our killer whale pop up card template

What you need:

Step by step instructions

Print out a killer whale pop-up card template – you can choose a black and white template for kids to color first.

After coloring the black and white template or if you printed the template in full color, cut around the outer rectangle line.

Next comes the folding part – fold the card in half, placing the killer whale image on the outside, by following the dotted line running across the card.

There is a zigzag line between the killer whale’s teeth, which is slowly cut along that line.

You will see two diagonal dashed lines running across the killer whale’s face – fold along those lines.

Open the card and slowly close it again – this time the design will be glued to the inside.

Push your finger through the back of the killer whale’s mouth as you close the card, this will help you position the folds for your pop-up card.

At this point, your card should look like this.

Take a red card (fold red cardstock if you don’t have card) – the card should be the same size or larger than the pop-up card template.

Apply glue to one half of the folded pop-up card (the half with the design) and adhere it to the inside of the red card.

Press down to set the glue.

Apply glue to the remaining half…

…and close the card.

Wait for the glue to dry.

Done! Your Orca pop up card is complete.
