Apple’s Quick Way to Create Artwork

What you need:

printable template (optional)
pencil
drag
glue
construction paper (white, green, brown and red)
sponge
paint (green and yellow)
black marker

Step-by-step instructions

Prepare a sheet of paper.

Have your child dab paint on the paper with a sponge. They can also use other materials to create prints (e.g. fingerprints).

They can also paint the background using any other technique they want.

Continue by covering the entire sheet.

Switch to another paint color and add more dots on the green layer.

Let it dry!

Print or draw an apple with separate stems and leaves, then cut out the sections.

Place and trace the apple, stem, and leaves onto red, brown, and green construction paper using a pencil.

Cut out parts of the apple. You can also outline them with a black marker if you want.

Cut red apples horizontally into several strips.

Glue the stem and leaves to the green background, then attach the apple strips in order, leaving small gaps between each part.

Finish gluing the apple strips until the last strip is in place.

Your quick apple artwork is complete!

All done!
