How to Make a Santa Claus Pop Up Card in a Chimney

What you need:

Step by step instructions

This chimney Santa looks a bit complicated to make, but it’s actually very easy.

Print out this template to get started on making this pop up card. Once printed, you can start cutting.

Once you have finished cutting the chimney, you can start cutting Santa’s legs.

Once you have everything cut, you will fold the chimney in half.

Once the chimney is folded in half, you will cut along the dotted lines on the chimney.

As you can see, there is a nice gap at the top of the chimney.

Go ahead and reopen the pattern and you can see where the cut is.

The incision must be completely through.

When you open the template, it will look like this!

Now you will paste the template onto a piece of red paper or the color of your choice.

Make sure you do not glue the slit part.

You will be gluing both of Santa’s legs inside the gap. Make sure you glue the legs to the outside of the gap.

As you can see, it creates a 3D effect!
