This simple art project is suitable for preschoolers, although some assistance may be needed. Older children can easily complete this project on their own.
Unlike their real friends, our cute hedgehogs are completely harmless and playful.
You can even name them if you want.
This project is not too difficult and you can complete it in a short time.
What you need:
Let’s get started!
Draw a watercolor circle on white cardboard.
Cut out that circle.
Draw two cute eyes or use googly eyes. Make them different sizes to give your hedgehog a goofy look.
Keep your eyes on the circle.
Draw a mouth with teeth using black eyeliner.
Unlike true sea urchins, which have five sharp teeth capable of drilling holes in rocks, our sea urchin friend has normal teeth and cannot cause harm.
Cut out some spikes. Use white cardboard for this purpose.
They do not have to be the same size.
Glue the spikes to the back of the body.
Stick some magnetic tape on the back of the body and you can make a magnetic hedgehog to stick on the fridge.
Done! Too easy right?
Now you can freely name your hedgehog friends and enjoy playing with them.
Hope you find this project interesting.
We really like the results of these kids.
Stay tuned for more ships at sea!
