How to make a shark pop up card

What you need:

Step by step instructions

Print out the template. We have a black and white version and a full color version, both in two sizes.

We’ll show you a smaller black and white version.

Print on cardboard After printing, color the scene with your favorite coloring materials.

Cut out the card.

Place the card on top of the red paper and cut around to get a red rectangle the same size as the card.

Fold the red rectangle in half.

Fold the shark card in half along the dotted lines. Leave the image on the outside.

Cut in a zigzag pattern between the teeth, being careful and cutting slowly.

There are diagonal lines on the shark’s body. Fold along those lines. Make the folds nice and sharp.

Open the card. Push your finger through the mouth hole, from the back, and gently start to close the card, this time the shark image is inside.

Slowly close your mouth, still gently pushing your mouth and teeth with your fingers.

When closing the card, run your hand through the folds a few times.

Glue the picture card inside the folded red card.

Press down to set the glue.

Done! Your shark pop-up card is ready to bite.
