We can’t get enough of chicks and bunnies, so we wanted to share with you another simple paper craft for Easter.
We will make a chick and a bunny from paper strips, this time we even have a handy template to follow along with the project.

We’ve shared two similar Easter crafts like this, a simple paper bunny craft and a chick craft, and since you liked them so much, we wanted to share another version – this one can stand on its own.
So we have this adorable chick…
And the cute bunny (would look even cuter if you attached a big tassel to its butt).
What a fun Easter activity.
What you need
We will show you how to do this project without our template.
You can use an everyday item – a bowl, a lid, or even a compass – to make your chick round. Draw the round object on yellow construction paper (or white if you’re making a bunny – or any other color that suits a bunny).
Cut the strips of paper. They should be about a “finger” wide, but there’s nothing wrong with making them wider or thinner – younger children will have an easier time handling wider strips, while older children may find thinner strips a fun challenge.
Take a strip of paper, bend and fold at both ends and glue it to the circular base, forming an arch.
Continue with the other strips. Most of them are pretty easy to glue, but the last one can be a little tricky! The glue dots come in handy here.
Cut out all the necessary decorations – beak, wings or ears, nose and feet. Don’t forget to color the inside of the ears.
Glue all parts into the designated locations.
Don’t forget to add eyes! Add two pieces of vibrating eye stickers or googly eyes.
