Simple Movable Halloween Crafts

Who doesn’t love a craft that moves – print out our easy movable Halloween craft template and let your kids make a cool looking spider, bat and cat! Each of these items has moving parts, flapping wings, a moving head or tail or legs.

These make great Halloween classroom or fun after school project at home. They would also be useful at a kids Halloween party.

Look how cool they are! With a bat, the wings can move to make the bat fly and so can the head.

And the spider will move all its legs as well as its head.

How to Make Easy Portable Halloween Crafts

What you need:

  • our printable templates
  • coloring supplies if printing black and white version
  • drag
  • paper bra divider / bra
  • hole punch or other tool for punching holes in paper for bras

Step by step instructions

If you printed out the black and white version of our simple movable Halloween craft, the first thing to do is color all the parts of the craft.

Next cut them out.

Punch holes where needed. If you want to simplify the craft, you can also glue some parts (like the head of a bat or a spider).

Align the holes and push the split pin through.

Protect it.

Repeat with all holes and split pins.

Done! You’ve completed one of our easy portable Halloween crafts.

Now coming to the next part, they are all assembled in a similar way.

The cat has only one moving part so it is suitable for young children.
