Simple Paper Fish Craft

This simple paper fish craft takes less than a minute to make and is perfect for summer entertaining.

When it comes to summer crafts for kids, we like them to be quick and simple.

Make one or a dozen.

We made these paper fish a little larger than a coin.

We really like this result.

Besides, they are also great friends.

How to make simple paper fish

What you need:

  • colored paper
  • round hole punching machine
  • glue
  • drag
  • Googly eyes
  • black outline

Let’s get started!

Step by step instructions

Punch out a circle using a circle punch.

Use a black pen to draw a circle.

Use a black pencil to draw a curve as shown to separate the head from the body.

Attach a fake eye.

Draw a smile.

Draw patterns on the body as shown in the picture.

Take a larger piece of colored paper and draw around the fish.

Draw two fins and a tail.

Cut out the fish shape.

Use a black pen to outline the fins and tail.

Draw 5 straight lines at the tail as shown.

Apply some glue to the fish shape and attach the round fish body.

Done!
