These simple paper turtles can be used in so many different ways. Stick them on paper clips and make bookmarks. Attach a magnet and they become fridge magnets. Make them into brooches, pencil tips, or whatever you want.

We watched a documentary about turtles today and were amazed to see the baby turtles struggling to find their way to the sea.
They brought us so much joy that we decided to do a project about turtles.
We really love turtles.
They come in various sizes and date back to the time of the dinosaurs.
They are amazing creatures, aren’t they?
So let’s make a pair.
For this summer activity you will need:
Let’s go!
Punch a circle with a circle punch.
Use a black pen to draw a circle.
On another piece of colored paper, draw a turtle shape – with a head and legs as shown in the picture.
Cut out the turtle shape.
Use a black pencil to outline the head and legs.
Draw two turtle shapes up and down the circle.
Next draw two turtle shapes on the left and two shapes on the right of the circle.
Draw a turtle shape in the middle of the circle as shown. Mai is done.
Darken the pattern lines. Use a black pencil.
Apply a little glue to the turtle shape.
Glue the round shell onto the turtle shape.
Take two fake eyes and glue them to your face.
Use black eyeliner to draw a small smile on your face.
Done!
