How to make a Windsock toilet paper roll craft for St. Patrick’s Day

What you need:

  • toilet paper roll
  • painted green
  • green paper
  • paint brush
  • green tissue paper
  • drag
  • glue
  • yarns
  • awl hole

Step-by-step instructions

Paint the toilet paper roll with green paint. Let the paint dry.

After the paint dries, punch two holes for the thread.

Thread the yarn through the holes.

Tie it up.

Cut strips of tissue paper.

Ideally you would use two shades of green.

Apply glue to one end of the tissue paper strip and stick it to the inside of the roll.

Fold the green paper in half and cut out a “half” shamrock shape.

Stick the shamrock onto the toilet paper roll.

All has been done! Your St. Patrick’s Day Windsock Toilet Paper Roll is ready to hang.
