Summer Cutting Practice Worksheets

If you want to help your preschooler get ready for kindergarten, help him develop great scissor skills. Our fun summer cutting practice board is perfect for that. Not to mention they can be used as pencil control printables because your child can draw the lines instead of cutting them.

While fun and play should absolutely be a priority for kids this age, it’s always great (and teachers) to practice gentle, stress-free skills like scissor skills. Kindergarten will appreciate that).

Not ready for towing? You can also use these for pencil control, which is another great skill for children to practice before kindergarten.

Setting up a cutting skills activity this summer is easy. Just print the playful summer-themed designs and watch your kids carefully cut along the dotted lines.

It’s the perfect way to improve your child’s scissors skills or keep them sharp during the hot season!

We have prepared 20 different cutting boards – all available in black and white versions as well as full color versions. The black and white ones can also be colored for some extra pencil control.

They can dive deep into the sea by cutting wavy lines to create an octopus with tentacles.
