We made 3 versions of this Easter craft, actually 4 if you count the blank version.
You’ll find a handmade lamb, a handmade bunny, and an adorable chick all hidden inside a cracked Easter egg. With the blank egg, you can let your kids draw their own design or use it to glue their own photo inside the egg.
How to Make Surprise Easter Eggs
What you need:
Step by step instructions
Print out the template. Both regular paper and cardstock will work. We recommend cardstock if you plan on coloring with markers, as they can wrinkle the paper.
Color the design. The large version is suitable even for young children as there are no small parts to color.
We make simple eggshells, kids can also add their own details to make their own products.
Cut everything out.
It’s easy and comfortable.
Locate the 2 dashed lines on the pattern (largest part).
Fold along those lines (with the design on the inside).
Apply glue to the folded egg shape and glue the two halves of the Easter egg on.
Done.
Your surprise Easter Egg creation is complete.
