Toilet Paper Roll Zebra Craft

Calling all zebra lovers – let’s make a toilet roll zebra craft together. This is a great craft idea for kids to make on a rainy day.

If your child is a fan of all kinds of animals, this craft is definitely one worth adding to their collection.

If you didn’t know, zebras make everything more interesting!

Your kids will love making this toilet paper roll craft, so grab the supplies and have some fun.

How to make paper-rolled zebras

What you need:

  • printable template
  • paper roll (use toilet paper roll or make a roll from regular paper)
  • colored paper (white and pink)
  • drag
  • pencil
  • black marker
  • glue
  • sharp eyes
  • yarn (white and black)

Step-by-step instructions

Body

Cut a piece of white paper large enough to wrap around the roll.

Draw zebra stripes with a black marker.

Glue onto the toilet paper roll.

Press down to ensure the paper remains on the tube.

Cut out the templates.

Draw the head and ears twice on white paper and cut out.

Draw ears on white paper.

Our zebras need legs. Draw the legs on the white paper four times, then cut them out.

Draw lines inside the ears on pink paper.

Head

Draw a black pattern on the zebra’s head

Glue on the googly eyes.

Glue the pink inner part to the ear.

Draw patterns on the ears with a black marker.

Small stripes on the ears help add more interesting details.

Glue the ears onto the zebra’s head.

Go ahead and add small stripes to the ears at the back of the head.

Feet

Draw the hooves and stripes on the legs with a black marker.

mane

Cut short pieces of white fiber to make a mane.

Cut the black wool fibers as well.

Glue the black and white pieces of yarn to the back of the zebra’s head.

Add stripes to the zebra’s nose.

Apply glue to part of the zebra’s head.

Glue the sides of the zebra onto the toilet paper roll and press them together.

Tail

Cut a long strip of white paper.

Glue white and black yarn onto white paper.

Glue the tail to the zebra.

The finished product is an adorable zebra you can play with for hours!

It looks impressive!
