Winter Paper Plate Craft

Winter is here, which means these Winter Paper Plate Crafts are ideal for kids.

You will make a paper plate shaped like a house, a tree, a deer and many stars in the sky!

How to make winter paper plates

What you need:

  • printable template
  • paper plate
  • White paper
  • drag
  • craft knife
  • pencil
  • blue acrylic paint
  • paint brush
  • glue
  • white silk ribbon (optional)

Step-by-step instructions

Winter landscape

Gather your supplies; You’ll need a few things to get started with this winter paper plate craft.

Start with your paper plate.

Cut out the inside as shown in the picture.

Paint the top half of the panel dark blue.

Cut out the pattern pieces with scissors.

You may need to help your child with this step.

The next part of the article involves you drawing a house, a deer and two trees on paper.

Cut the pieces out.

Draw a moon and five stars, then cut them out.

Cut out the windows of the house and glue the house and white pine tree on the left side.

Go ahead and glue another pine tree, a deer, five stars and the moon.

Hanger

Cut out a thin strip.

You can skip this step and make a hanger using silk ribbon.

Create a loop – it can be as short or long as needed.

Attach the string loop to the back as a hanger.

The ultimate winter paper plate craft is ready to display in your home.

Children love doing this craft!

You can experiment and make the stars and moon yellow.
