With Halloween right around the corner, we’re sure you’re busy looking for fun Halloween arts and crafts ideas to do with your kids. This project is great for preschoolers and kindergarteners because they can do it themselves (or with a little help).
If you’re just looking for a great Halloween souvenir for grandparents or other family members, this is also great to make with toddlers, if they like to get a little naughty (and you don’t mind doing most of the work).
What you need:
Have your child paint their feet white – you can either have them dip their feet in the paint or use a paintbrush to brush it over the surface of their feet (this can be ticklish).
Ask them to press their foot down on the black card to leave a white footprint.
Ask them to cut out footprints.
Stick two wobbly eyes on the footprint.
Turn the footprint upside down and use tape to secure the yarn.
Begin wrapping the yarn around the footprint, covering the entire footprint but loose enough that the footprint is still visible.
Once you are happy with the shape of your yarn wrapped mummy footprint craft, secure the end of the yarn with glue or create a footprint.
Done!
