What better way to learn about letters than through play! There are so many fun alphabet learning games out there and these are just a few of my favorites as they all guarantee tons of fun!

Alphabet learning games and activities

1. This “spelling and counting” game can be played many ways – solo, in groups, versus playing, and can be used as a letter recognition game or a spelling game. Kids have to roll the dice, match the letters, and do it all again until they complete the word (can be played with magnetic tiles or a foam alphabet).

2. Write letters – children will really enjoy doing this! (Let’s join hands as we grow up)

3. This letter matching game will help children learn lowercase and uppercase letters! (Going to high school)

4. Also, try this superhero letter matching game. (B-inspired by Mama)

5. This active alphabet learning game will also get kids moving (Coffee cup and colored pencils).

6. Do you know any children who don’t like going into mazes? I don’t and that’s why I think this maze alphabet game idea is awesome (Practice as we grow).

7. Did you know sometimes letters can hide? This fun runaway letter game will keep your child entertained and learning for a while – it’s fun! (Growing book by book).

8. Monsters (or other creatures naturally) can be a great help when learning the alphabet – check out this alphabet game. (I can teach my children).

9. Do you want to play dominoes? This can also make a great learning game! (Inspiration Lab)
