It’s time to make some cute bug crafts with the kids! All of these insect crafts are sweet and silly, and some are even educational. There’s a bug project for kids of all ages found in this list, from simple bug craft ideas for preschoolers and toddlers to more challenging projects for Older children!

Easy bug crafts for kids

Oh, how we love all things bugs! We’ve picked out some of the best preschool and kindergarten bug craft ideas we have on the site (but we have many more!).

One of our all-time favorites is this easy-to-make bug craft that kids will be proud to display. Let’s see how to make this ladybug.

2. Pom Pom caterpillar

This mini pom pom caterpillar project is great for young children (preschool, kindergarten) because it helps them practice their fine motor skills as they complete it.

3. Paper strip ladybug

We love ladybugs. This is one of our most popular ladybug crafts.
