Follow the step-by-step instructions
Cut two long strips of paper, they should be the same width. Don’t worry too much about the length, as you can always add more.
Glue the strips together at one end, at a right angle.
Start folding them into an accordion shape, folding one sheet over the other…
Create folds as you go…
Glue the final folds together (if you want the accordion body to be longer, glue two more strips and continue folding).
Cut 2 U shapes from brown cardstock (make it a little wider than the accordion).
Glue them to both ends of the accordion.
Cut a small tail from brown cardstock and glue it to the deer’s butt :).
Cut or punch out a circle for the head. Glue on (or draw) eyes…
Draw a mouth and glue a red cotton ball on for a nose.
Cut antlers from dark brown cardstock and glue them to the head.
Stick the head to the body.
You can also insert two craft sticks, one on each side, to turn your reindeer into a play puppet.
