We’ll use one fall pin to make another pin and apples to make pumpkins! This simple apple stamp art is an easy art project suitable for all ages and the results are truly amazing.
We created scary pumpkin apple images last year, but this time, we wanted to share a simple but great art project to do during the fall season.

We love how the colors really pop with this project. Children will explore different art techniques while making this piece.
While this project can easily be done with just orange paint, using multiple paints together takes it to the next level.
What you need:
Take a paper plate or a tray and squeeze some yellow, orange and red paint on it.
It will serve as your little artist’s palette!
Cut an apple in half; Its shape is more than perfect for making pumpkin stamps.
Have your child dip half an apple in the paint.
It’s time to start stamping.
The paint should cover the entire half of the apple (you can use a brush to spread if necessary).
Gently press the painted apple onto the cardboard, creating the first apple shape.
Have your child create more apple shapes, each time dipping the apple in the paint so the colors stay vibrant.
We just love the way the colors blend together.
Let the paint dry completely before proceeding to the next step.
Use a brown or green pencil to draw the tree trunk on the apple shape.
These apple prints are starting to resemble pumpkins but we’re not done yet!
Using a green pencil, draw green spirals next to each stem.
They don’t all need to be swirled (but the swirls look more pumpkin-like).
Next, use a brown pencil to draw rounded lines on the apple shapes, giving them the classic pumpkin look.
The apple shaped pumpkins are done!
We think these apple shaped pumpkins look amazing!
This is a super easy project and great to do at home or in the classroom.
We hope your kids will enjoy making this!
With thousands of crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing guides to print, you’ll always have the resources you need at hand. Perfect for both parents and teachers!
