Once you decide you want to make these Origami Lucky Stars, you may be surprised at how easy they are to make! We’ll show you HOW to make these so you can make them anytime your kids get bored!

You will want to start with a strip of paper. Place the strip of colored paper with the colored side facing up!

Hold the piece of paper flat and move the right end of the paper up and down to form as shown above.

Now take the bottom end up and over the left end. Make sure you hold it steady with your left hand as you do the hard work with your right hand.

Once you have made a loop, you can go ahead and feed the top end to the back, which you will then feed through the hole.

Continue pulling the end through the loop, eventually you’ll want to pull the bottom end to completely tie the knot.

You will need to tuck the end of the strip inside the star. If you want to inflate the star, you need to clip it to the corner of the pentagon.

You will do this between your thumb and index finger. You’ll want to rotate each point of the star to help it inflate.
