Build a Fox Puppet Template Forest Animals Craft

Fall is the perfect time of year to make all kinds of forest animal crafts with your kids. We’ll show you how you can create a cool looking puppet using our fox puppet template.

What makes these printable jungle animal puppets really stand out is that they are so easy to make! Just print two sheets of paper, cut and apply glue and you have your own puppet.

How to assemble the fox puppet construction template

What you need:

Our printable template (comes with four jungle animals)
drag
glue
color supplies

Step-by-step instructions

Print the sheets – if you want, print the base pattern including the outer ears and tail on colored paper or let the children color them in with coloring tools.

Ask them to cut out the parts.

We printed the sheet with the base, ears and tail on orange paper.

It’s time to fold the puppet’s base along the dotted line.

Encourage children to create beautiful folds.

Then have them apply glue to the flaps (marked with “glue”).

To finish the base, have your child gently close the card by pressing down to secure the glue.

Ask them to glue the tip to the tail.

To create the ears, have your child glue the inside and outside of the ear together.

Have them glue the fox cheeks to the base of the puppet.

Then apply glue to the nose.

Next are the eyes.

And the ears – let the child glue them to the back of the puppet.

All has been done!
