How to assemble a sample to build a vampire puppet

What you need:

  • Our printable template (comes with 5 Halloween monsters)
  • drag
  • glue
  • color supplies

Step-by-step instructions

Print sheets of paper. You can print the puppet base (head, ears and nose) on colored paper; we think purple or light blue is perfect for vampire crafts.

Have kids color the vampire’s hair, mouth, eyes, and bow tie (we love a quirky looking vampire).

Cut out all parts of the pattern.

Start by folding the base of the puppet. Fold along all the dashed lines.

Apply glue to the flaps (they are marked with the word glue).

Close the “tag” and gently press down to secure the glue.

It’s time to start building this fun vampire puppet. It’s easiest if you start with your hair. Glue it on top of the puppet (the top is where the ends are closed).

Next is the nose. There is a dashed line on the nose rectangle. Fold along those lines.

Apply glue to the flaps and glue the nose to the puppet’s base.

Add a pair of eyes as well as a pair of ears.

Last but not least, add a mouth with fangs as well as a bow (bow is optional).

Construction of a vampire puppet is now complete.

It’s time to play!
