Christmas Tree Letter Matching Activity

Imagine combining a holiday craft and a learning game together! This Christmas tree letter matching activity is the perfect learning tool for the holiday season.

Learning the alphabet doesn’t have to be difficult for kids! Instead, they can do this activity and spend time putting the letters together. You’ll soon realize how fun and exciting this craft is for kids!

You can have them practice writing lowercase, uppercase, or cursive.

How to do Christmas tree letter matching activity

What you need:

  • drag
  • pencil
  • black marker
  • glue
  • green
  • red
  • brown
  • White paper
  • gold foil paper

Step by step instructions

Go ahead and gather all the materials you need for this fun craft! This craft is great because it doesn’t require a lot of materials. You can easily make it with things you already have on hand.

Draw a Christmas tree on green paper and cut it out. You can easily make this tree yourself! Take some practice if you need to.

You can help your kids cut the Christmas tree if they need help!

Cut the stem out of brown paper.

Glue the tree trunk onto the white paper and Christmas tree.

Draw a decorative pattern on red paper and cut it out. If you don’t want to use red paper, you can always use another color of construction paper.

Draw around the shape on the red paper 25 times and then cut it out.

Write “Merry Christmas” on the ornament.

Stick ornaments on the Christmas tree.

Draw a star on a white sheet of paper.

Cut it out, glue it on and add gold glitter.

Place the yellow star at the top of the tree.

Now you have a fun craft and learning game that you can play all season long.
