Or follow the step-by-step instructions below

You will need two strips of bright green paper, one wider than the other.

The easiest way for kids to do this is to fold across the width of a letter or A4 sized piece of paper – the crease forms the cutout for the thinner strip of paper.

Cut about 2 inches/2 cm from the folded paper to get a wider strip.

Svg%3E

Cut the two strips of paper apart by cutting along the fold line.

Svg%3E

Cut the thinner strip of paper into shorter pieces. Set aside.

Svg%3E

Apply glue to one end of the paper strip…

Svg%3E

And glue the two ends together to form a roll.

Do the same with both the thinner and wider strips of paper.

Apply a small amount of glue to a section of the smaller roll of paper and glue it to the larger roll of paper.

Now take a small piece of paper cut out (from a thinner strip of paper) and stick two vibrating eye patches (either fake eyes or draw your own).

Cut above the eyes, forming two arcs.

Fold under the eyes (to form an L shape).

Glue the eyes to the smaller roll of paper (the head of your paper frog).

Draw the nose and mouth.

Cut a thin strip of red paper. Make it moderately long.
