If you love fairies and want to make one (or more) yourself, come and take a trip into the magical world by making this lovely craft from craft sticks and cupcake liners.
Get creative by creating different dresses, hairstyles, and different types of wings. You can have a great fairy puppet show when you’re done.

Cupcake liners are a great afternoon craft project. You won’t be able to stop at just one. You’ll have a magical fairy colony in no time.
You can use them as neat party decorations, give them as gifts to a special friend, or make them into stick puppets to play with. Fairies are a great theme for spring crafts and we love making them (check out our Fairy Garden in a Jar project or our Magic Wand Craft).
What you need:
Let’s create!
Draw a circle on a piece of body colored paper…
…and cut it out.
Using the circle head as a template, draw another circle on the yellow paper for the hair.
Draw another smaller circle for the bun.
…and cut the pieces out.
Glue the hair to the top of the head and draw the fairy’s face.
Glue the fairy’s head to the top of the popsicle stick.
Make a fairy blouse with green paper…
…and glue it back on.
Fold the muffin paper in half…
…and glue it to the dress.
Draw wings on blue paper…
…and cut them out.
Make an arm out of a pipe cleaner…
…and glue the hands to the back of the craft stick.
Glue the wings back.
Now take a bow…
…and glued it to the fairy’s hair.
Glue the green shuttlecock to the fairy’s foot.
And your fairy is done.
Isn’t it cute?
You can place the fairy among the paper flowers.
Have fun creating!
And do as much as you like.
