What you need:
You will gather your supplies and paint a craft stick green to begin this craft.
If you’re working with a group of older children, make them a cardboard stencil and cut it out.
Kids who need a little help making the wings can draw around the wings on light blue paper.
Ask them to cut their butterfly wings.
In this step, you will glue two moving eyes on the pompom.
Cut a piece of red thread.
Glue the red piece of yarn up like a smile.
Glue two pink pearls onto the pompom to create cheeks.
A large green craft stick will be the body.
Glue the wings to the stick.
Adding a second pair of wings to the dragonfly is the next step.
Fold the wings back a little so they’re nice and crisp.
Go ahead and stick the tip onto the stick.
Add pompoms along the craft bar.
Arrange them from more important to smaller ones.
The final form of this dragonfly made with pom poms is simple but fun!
