Easy Christmas Tree Craft

Let’s make a super easy Christmas tree together! This allows the kids to be creative and stay awesome.

Although we used a small foam brush to make these Christmas tree ornaments, if you want a more personal project you can ask the kids to use their fingerprints to make they.

You can also let your kids use their old artwork to make these trees. Another way to add a more personal touch to this project.

How to make easy Christmas tree crafts

What you need:

  • handmade paper
  • pencil
  • drag
  • glue
  • handmade paint and watercolor
  • paintbrush
  • sponge dabber brush (optional)
  • yellow paper
  • Handmade wooden sticks

Step-by-step instructions

If your child uses wetter paints like watercolor, get a sheet of construction paper so the paper has good grip and doesn’t wrinkle.

Use a pencil to draw a triangle on the paper.

Cut out the triangle.

Draw a triangle with watercolor. No need to stick to green thread.

We also added purple to our tree.

Let the paint dry.

Using a foam brush (or your finger), create decorations in a variety of colors.

Let the paint dry.

Cut a star shape from yellow paper and glue it to the top of the tree.

Get a wooden craft stick.

And stick it to the back of the tree as the trunk.

For a cuter look, round the corners of the triangle before or after painting.

Let the handmade Christmas tree dry completely before proudly displaying your child’s festive creation!

You can also attach string to it and turn this craft into an adorable looking Christmas tree decoration.

Wishing you successful manufacturing!
