Easy Rainbow Sponge Painting Art

How to create the art of Sponge Rainbow Easy

What you need:

• White cardstock
• sponge
• brush
• Craft paint (red, orange, yellow, green and blue)
• A large scrap paper or a covered table

Step by step

This project works best on a white cardstock.

Take a sponge. This will be your secret tool to create a perfect rainbow.

Use a brush, add a wide amount of red paint to the edge of the sponge. You can add one or two countries to make sure the paint is not dry while you add other paints.

Only a small part of the sponge, leaving many places for other paints.

Right below the red, add an orange paint strip.

Keep going! Add yellow under orange.

Next, apply green paint under yellow.

Finish your rainbow by adding green at the bottom of the sponge.

We only use five colors, because the seven colors will not be suitable for our sponge, but if you want to teach children about the order of color in the rainbow, this is a great small art project to do that.

Place a larger scrap paper under Cardstock to keep your workspace clean.

Tip: If the paints are too dry, add a little water to the sponge.
