How to make an autumn handprint tree

What you need:

  • toilet paper roll
  • brown paint
  • brown construction paper or recycled cereal boxes (and the like) painted brown
  • Autumn colored paper
  • drag
  • glue
  • pencil or colored pens

Step-by-step instructions

Start by painting the toilet paper roll with brown paint.

You can also paint a little inside. Let the paint dry.

Cut two diagonal slits at one end of the roll.

Trace your hand on the cardstock. Pencils or crayons do the job well.

Cut out the outline of your hand. Round off the bottom.

Cut small leaves from autumn colored paper x orange, yellow, brown, red, beige – these are all great colors to choose from.

Fold the small leaves in half to give them dimension.

Apply a little glue to the leaf and stick it on the hand shape.

Add as much as you want.

Push the fingerprint into the two slots on the scroll.
