How to make autumn tree tissue art
What you need:
Step-by-step instructions
Print out tree samples (let children choose their favorite tree model).
Have your child start pouring liquid glue onto the ends of the trunk and branches.
We are preparing the base to be glued onto tissue paper.
Use a paintbrush to have your child spread glue onto the paper, creating a sticky surface to hold their tissue paper squares.
Now it’s time for the kids to place the tissue paper squares on top of the glue.
They will add depth and texture to the fallen tree scene.
Encourage them to mix and match colors for truly eye-catching results.
Ask them to add glue on top.
Repeat this process by applying the glue with a paintbrush.
Then, ask them to add more tissue squares.
Repeat the steps, adding another layer of glue and tissue squares to create dimension and create a unique design.
Now, dab small dots of glue all over the paper, creating spots.
It will be the background for colorful falling leaves in your child’s fall-inspired artwork.
Have children fold different tissue squares and place them on glue dots that represent falling leaves.
