Who doesn’t love a fun holiday crafting session? We have tons of Christmas craft ideas on the site and we love making each and every one of them. There’s just something extra special about this holiday and all kinds of crafts make it even more special.
What you need:
Let’s set the scene! Cut two large circles, one from green paper and one from white paper, they should be the same size.
Make a wavy cut on the blue paper.
Apply glue to white paper and stick it to heavier backing paper (cardboard).
Apply glue to the blue paper and stick it on top of the white paper.
You can also do the opposite, cutting the white paper and pasting it on top of the uncut blue paper. You have now created your snow scene.
Cut an elongated rectangle from brown paper and glue it onto the scene (near the bottom). This makes our Christmas tree trunks handmade.
Next, take a piece of green paper. Slowly start folding it.
Fold it all the way back. Once done, fold the folded paper in half.
Glue or staple together.
You’ve got a folding fan Christmas tree (almost).
Apply glue on one side…
…and glue it to your winter scene.
It’s time to decorate. You can roll paper towels into small balls, you can also do the same with regular paper or you can use pom poms. Small buttons work too! Stick little festive ornaments on your tree.
Cut a small star out of paper and glue it to the top of the tree.
You can also add snowflakes – use a metallic marker or even better, white paint and fingers or Q-tips to create snowflakes.
All has been done! Your folded paper fan Christmas tree is complete.
With thousands of crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing guides to print, you’ll always have the resources you need at hand. Perfect for both parents and teachers!
