Still missing a special ornament to hang on your Christmas tree? Make these cute fingerprint snowman ornaments.
We made a paper snowman ornament a few days ago, but the snowman was really fun.
Child-made Christmas ornaments can be a great Christmas tradition, kids can make a new one each year and over the years your tree will be filled with unique (and memory-filled) ornaments.
Make a snowman ornament with fingerprints
Raw materials
- Non-toxic craft paint
- Color- white, black, orange and your option
- Paintbrush
- Light bulb ornament
- Decorative hanger
- Tissue
Instruct
These decorations can be made for fun and make great souvenirs!
Choose your light bulb – we also tried it on glitter bulbs and it worked! I was afraid the paint wouldn’t stick.
Paint your (or your child’s) index finger with white paint and press down on the light bulb to form the body of the snowman.
Do this with each finger until you have the desired number of snowmen on the bulb. Let dry completely.
Use craft paint and a small brush to create the face.
Try adding hats, scarves, gloves and more to make them super cute!

Need something to keep little ones busy? Let them make a cotton ball snowman or a cotton ball snowman. This pom pom snowman, on the other hand, would be a perfect craft for a little older.
